Author Bio
Cherrie Mack is a multi-published romance author who grew up in Flushing
Queens NY, the youngest child of six. The city’s diversity gave her a great
appreciation for many different cultures and lifestyles. After love finally
claimed the girl from the city and dragged her to the suburban madness of Long
Island, she settled into a quiet life with her new husband. Two children and
one mini-van later, the family found themselves moving towards the sunny skies
of Florida where they currently reside.Cherrie is happiest sitting behind a keyboard doing the one thing she loves most—writing. However, when she isn’t writing, she is struggling to man her website, promote her books, keep up with social media and run a household. She loves to hang out with her 12 and 10 year old kids and spend time with her smart, sexy, fun loving husband. She struggles to master the art of meditation but with so many people living inside her head, demanding a story of their own, the task is daunting. She takes time to relax by playing with her best friends–Bailey and Simba.
Cherrie continues to flourish, writing contemporary erotic romance, romantic comedy, urban fantasy, paranormal romance and her latest venture into sci-fi. Her ability to cross genre’s fuels her imagination and gives her the desire to continue to push her boundaries and branch out as a writer. Although she hasn’t settled into any given sub-genre, she is confident her ability will lead her down the right path.
A member of Romance Writers of America, Cherrie is slowly spreading her wings as a romance author. Look for her books at all digital bookstores such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Bookstrand, ITunes, Nook, Kobo and many more.
Author Interview
Tell us about yourself.
I’m a stressed out wife, moody mom and romance author. I try very hard, not always successfully to balance all three.
Where do you like to write?
I’d love to write in Bora Bora but these days, you can usually find me writing at my kitchen table with two mutts at my feet and a sparkly silver coffee pot within reach. While I have a home office in the works it’s not yet complete. Can’t wait to move in.
What is your process in creating a story-line or factious world? Do you use aides, outlines, etc...?
I was an infamous pantser. Usually my characters dictate the story I’m writing but as more stories come to mind, and the more characters that come forward, the need for an outline is becoming a necessity.
Who is your favorite character in this particular story and why?
Angelo is my favorite character, by far, in this story. He’s one hero who has his shit together from the beginning. He never falters.
Are you presently working on any other projects?
I am currently working on an erotic contemporary romance entitled, Shattered Innocence. I’ll share the blurb:
"Jules Worthington is a young writer looking for the story of her career. She gets her chance during the course of research at a local swing club when she meets sexy, damaged Raymond Armstrong. He and his friends have been treated unfairly by the media. His latest lover, Abby Monroe, said to be slaughtered inside his home while he played sex games was a blatant lie. He wants her reputation restored, giving Jules the chance at the exclusive of a lifetime. But when she finds herself falling hard for the dashing young entrepreneur, she must find a way to give him her body without giving up her heart."
Is there anything else that you would like to add?
I’d like to thank you for having me as a guest today. It’s been an absolute pleasure.

Book Excerpt
Allie paced her bedroom. “Angelo! I’m warning you. You
better show your face, or I’ll come to Mulberry Street and hunt you down like
the dog you are.”
“Take it easy, sugar. I was in a bath. Besides, you
need a little cooling off for that Gweneviere crack.” Startled by his quick
appearance, she watched him lean his buttocks against her window sill. His wet
hair brushed his wide shoulders, sending droplets of water traveling down
between his pectorals, over his defined abdomen, and disappearing beneath the
thick towel he wrapped around his waist. His olive skin glistened, and she
could smell his fresh ocean scent. Allie pinched herself, but he was still
there. “Fairies take baths?”
“Does a witch fly on a broomstick?”
She cocked her head and then shook it. “What am I
going to do? I know nothing about plants. I have a black thumb.” She motioned
her hands up and down the length of her body. “There is nothing green.
Anywhere.”
“Don’t worry. Do you panic like this every time you
have a dilemma?”
Allie faced him with her hands on her hips. “No. I
have a problem when my fairy godmother, who, by the way, looks like he could be
the leader of a gang, likes to play dress up by putting me in a servant’s
uniform and throwing me to the wolves.”
“If it were my game, the uniform you wore would’ve
looked a whole lot different.” He winked.
“Great. I get the sarcastic godmother. Is there a way
to trade you in?”
Angelo let out a loud sigh and pushed off the window
sill. He got closer to her. “My job is to point you toward a happily ever
after. It’s not to solve your problems or give you a quick fix for an already
fucked up life. Got it?”
Allie crinkled her forehead and slowly shook her head.
“I’m sorry, but I’m still questioning whether you’re real or if I’m in the
midst of some psychotic break.”
He pulled her into his arms and tucked her head under
his chin. “Does this feel real?”
She felt his heart beating against her and relaxed
into his embrace. She let out a soft sigh. “Umm, yes,” she whispered. “You feel
real. Can I ask you a question?”
“Shoot.”
“Is Angelo your real name?”
“No.”
She lifted her head and looked deep into his eyes. He
gave her a half-smile and held her stare. She felt her muscles loosen and the
stress drain from her fingertips. She leaned into him, pressing her breasts
against his bare chest, and held him tighter. “I hadn’t noticed before, but the
color of your eyes are the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The green is just—”
and before Allie could finish her sentence, Angelo was gone. She looked around
her empty bedroom. Either this was really happening, or she was going
completely crazy.
