Where do you like to write?
Ideally, at home in my pajamas with a Red Bull or cup of tea at my side and a purring cat at my feet, but circumstances have forced me to be able to write almost everywhere, whether at the dreaded day job, or while waiting at the doctor's office.
What is your process in creating a story-line or factious worlds? Do you use aides, outlines, etc...?
I usually either start out writing whatever scene prompted the story, or I jot brief notes about my idea. My outlines are pretty rough, usually a few sentences describing key events and notes answering questions about my characters' motivations. I really am trying to get better at outlining.
Who is your favorite character in this particular story and why?
Probably Lenore, the heroine. I empathize with her the most since we both have PTSD, grew up in poverty, and have suffered similar past traumas. Though she copes with all that very differently than I do and it was a delight to see her grow and overcome her issues.
Are you presently working on any other projects?
Yes, right now I am working on the 4th book in my Brides of Prophecy series. My readers have been greatly anticipating certain events that will finally happen in this story and I am having so much fun watching those plots come into play.
